Joyce's BBQ in Alton, NY is some of the best Southern-style cooking Wayne County has to offer. This BBQ pit has some great Pulled Pork, Sweet Potato Fries, Collared Greens, and other great menu items I intend to sample in future visit(s). Not only is the food tasty, but the good old feel of Southern hospitality is enough to remind us all to slow down a bit and enjoy the good things in life!
OK, so Joyce is a Wayne County, NY native--not a Southern gal. What shines through for me about Joyce's BBQ then, is that a little Wayne County flavor does include sitting down to a home-cooked meal, enjoying good and in-depth conversation, and smiling wide.

Joyce's BBQ in Alton is within the Town of Sodus, NY and is a great pit stop off of Rt. 104 heading east or west; turn north onto Rt. 14, take a left on Ridge. Rd., and Joyce's BBQ comes up rather quickly on the left-hand side of the road across from the gas station.
Joyce's BBQ would be a great addition to any daytrip to/from Sodus Point.
