WCHS Presents “Antiques on the Lawn” for Lyons Peppermint Days.

Wayne County Historical Society’s Museum of Wayne County History will be hosting “Antiques on the Lawn” during Peppermint Days on Saturday, 11 July 2009.

The sale will be held on the side lawn of the museum and museum staff says that they’re sure it will be a success. “This is truly our busiest day for visitors to the museum,” said Executive Director, Larry Ann Evans, “We don’t charge admittance fee that day and people walk up from the park all day long and tour the museum. I think all the Antique dealers will be pleased with the crowds.”

Some of the Antique dealers to be on the lawn are, Dresden Manor with Vintage Jewelry, Rick Kelly with documents, bottles and other smalls, In Touch with the Past will be bringing victorian furniture and glassware, Lured by Antiquity will have many items including antique duck decoys, Bernadine Warren will be showing glassware, Marsha Fuller will have antique furniture, clothing and other vintage items and Diane Butler will be bringing many of her vintage items that she has for sale at the Emporium in Ontario.

Antiques on the Lawn will open at 0900 and end at 1700, 11 July 2009 and will take place at the Museum of Wayne County History at 21 Butternut St. Lyons, NY.
