The silver waters of Great Sodus Bay in Wayne County, New York offer much variety and opportunity to small boat owners, including sailors, canoeists, and kayakers.
A group of four folks associated with Wayne County Life set off to take advantage of such opportunity on a day paddle on Sodus Bay on 14 July 2009. This trip started at Lake Bluff, skirted the eastern side of Leroy Island, circled Eagle Island around the western side, passed thru the Newark Island / Eagle Island narrows, and finished back at Lake Bluff. Join Wayne County Life in revisiting the paddle by viewing the recorded video. [Island Kayak permalink]
