This is a call for memorabilia for a special exhibit "Honoring our Fire Fighters!" at Wayne Arts in October 2009. Share your photographs, news clips, pictures, personal mementos, diaries, objects, items or responses to events in original art or print. Historical or recent - local - Wayne County - NYS.
In addition to the memorabilia exhibit, we are seeking all forms of art celebrating our "Local Firefighters" including, but no limited to oil, watercolor, photography, sculpture, textile art, etc. You may enter up to three (3) items and there will be no entry fee.
All submissions for memorabilia and art should be submitted on Friday, October 2nd or Saturday, October 3rd from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Exhibit will run from October 9th through October 31st with an opening reception to be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2009 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. An old fire truck will also be on display for children to check out.
Wayne Art Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Visit these exciting exhibits and stop by our great Gallery Gift Shop.
