Trail Works, Inc. of Wayne County presents:
A Walk Through History
See how historical murals and historical signage on the Erie Canal boosts understanding and tourism. Legacy Tourism--"If we paint it and sign it, they will come".
Included in the presentation will be a discussion of how Trail Works' Wayne County trails Passport Program, interpretive murals, and the Erie Canal "15 Mile" signs are enhancing the trail experience for bikers, hikers, boaters, skiers, and paddlers. On the trail, people are discovering that Wayne County is a place "where history meets nature".
