The schedule of events for the Lyons Harvest Festival on Saturday, 24 October 2009 is as follows:
  • 9:00 am
    • Pumpkin Contest - drop off carved / painted pumpkins in front of court house until 6pm
  • 10:00 am
    • Vendor set up
    • Hay Rides
  • 10:30 am
    • Pumpkin Bowling for ages 12 and under, in front of the Court House
  • 11:00 am
    • Story Time in the Park
  • 11:30 am
    • Corrine's Corn Husking Challenge in the park
  • 12:00 pm
    • Pumpkin Sweep Race
    • Historic Walk and Talk
  • 12:30 pm
    • Pumpkin Bowling for ages 13 and over in front of Court House
  • 1:00 pm 
    • Great Pumpkin Roll registration on the corner of Butternut and Pearl
  • 1:25 pm
    • The Great Pumpkin Roll
  • 1:30 pm
    • The Lion's Roar, howling and screaming contest in the park
  • 2:00 pm
    • Bland and Vandermortle Band
  • 2:30 pm
    • Marshmallow Madness, in the park for ages 18 and over
  • 3:00 pm
    • John Marks Band
  • 4:00 pm
    • Main Street Musical Chairs, in front of Trombinos
  • 4:30 pm
    • Marshmallow Madness, the finals
  • 5:30 pm
    • Parade line up at LES - kids, adults, and pets, judging of costumes
  • 6:00 pm
    • Costume Parade
    • Judging begins for the Pumpkin Carving / Painting
  • 6:30 pm
    • Costume Parade winners announced
  • 7:00 pm
    • 1st Annual Lyons Fall Harvest Festival Street Dance - Let the glow of the jack-o-lanterns light the way.  Please bring a donation for the Lyons Food Pantry. Costumes Welcome!
