The Newark Garden Club will host a Pumpkin Walk on Saturday, 24 October 2009 (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm) at Perkins Park in Newark, NY. Admission is $1 per individual or $3 per family.
Carved pumpkins are wanted for the Newark Garden Club Pumpkin Walk and will be judged as part of a friendly competition. To enter, bring your “carved pumpkins” to the Perkins Park Gazebo (Elmwood Ave.) between 3pm and 5 pm on the day of the Walk (24 October).

Hi Shelley, I moved the "pumpkins wanted" piece to the bottom of the story to avoid further confusion--thanks for pointing it out.
The Pumpkin Walk is at Perkins Park in Newark on Saturday, 24 October 2009 from 6pm to 9pm. It seems the idea behind the walk is for all participants to bring their own carved pumpkins between 3pm and 5pm on the same day.
Then, at night-time these pumpkins will become glowing jack-o-lanterns and the Walk will be all who pay the small admission price.
