I would like to personally thank Pat Gorthy for bringing in the Wayne County Council of the Arts to paint last Thursday (5 November 2009). Everyone had such a great time painting that we will be painting again this Thursday, 12 November 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the Grange. What can I say, it is great working around all those creative artists.

We have been painting this mural over now since March 2009. We have had over 65 volunteers and donations of supplies from the Old Lyons Hardware and Golden Paints. I can't say enough about what a great company Golden Artist Colors has been to our mural project. It was Noel Dobbins who made this great connection in 2007. I would also like to thank Carol Bailey for the use of the Grange, artist James Zeger, artist Maria Hoover, and Phil Paliotti for volunteering his time to frame the mural "Street of Dreams".

Look for a feature soon in the Finger Lakes Times--they spent an hour and a half with us on Thursday night.

I have attached some photos of this 12 x 44 mural.
