Once again the Lyons Main Street Program offered an opportunity for the Village of Lyons to come together to have some fun all in the Holiday Spirit and you turned out to support us--we are very grateful for your participation. What happened tonight was so much more than we had anticipated for our first night time "lights" parade. Our thanks and gratitude to all those that came out including the Girl Scouts, Eric Lewis and Heather Costello and others from the Lyons Elementary School, Rick Amundson, Dan LaGasse and Jim Murphy, Brian Manktelow, Anne Salerno and Stuart Smart, Ryan Robbins, Larry Ann Evans and Jean Stoep along with the cast from "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", the Lyons Police and Fire Departments, Alicia Linzy and her student volunteers from Lyons High School, Stephanie Knarr and the Lyons Youth Ambassadors, Scott Bailey and Jack McCranels, Denise Darcangelis, Kyra Yon and the Goal Chaserz, Carl O'meara and his beautiful trolley, Becky Kehoe and the Tibali's as well as the various families and children that decorated a vehicle and joined the fun. To each of you and to all of the residents of the Town and Village of Lyons, Happy and Safe Holidays. The Lyons Main Street Program appreciates your continued support of our efforts to make Lyons a more viable community--one that will attract visitors year-round and a solid base on which local businesses will prosper.
