Don’t forget the cross country ski outing at Spring Farm with Trail Works this Saturday, January 30th at 10:00 a.m.! Or will it turn out to be a hike instead? We’ll see what this week’s weather brings us.
Some of you will remember this location as Beckens Grove from years past. It is a beautiful property for year-round enjoyment and Trail Works is involved in efforts to realize its potential and share it with all of Wayne County as a public park.
Please see the attached map to locate Spring Farm. We will meet at the roadside parking lot for an excursion of about 2 hours over easy to moderate terrain. We plan to hike if snow cover is insufficient for cross country skiing. Check with Carol or me that morning in case of a blizzard or downpour.
Participants from northern Wayne County will meet for carpooling at the Williamson Town Hall parking lot on Route 21 in Williamson at 9:15 a.m.
