SUBMITTED by Nanette P. Hance, Guest of Pultneyville Masonic Lodge (12-Jan-2010)
The Pultneyville Masonic Lodge No. 159 held its annual holiday party on Monday, January 11, 2010. Families and friends enjoyed a delicious ham dinner prepared by Master Tom Scileppi and Wade Weber, followed by birthday cake in honor of Raymond De Nagel’s 92nd birthday. Longtime member, Chester A. Peters, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday, was also honored. Wayne Grand Marshall District Deputy, Bill Jones, made a surprise visit to presented Peters with his 50 year apron and a commemorative letter. Peters shared with the crowd how proud he was to be a Mason and member of the Pultneyville Lodge for all 50 years, and that all of his 8 sons, 4 son-in-laws, 5 grandsons and 2 son-in-laws were also members of the lodge. In the spirit of the season, the group enjoyed a delightful evening of fellowship.
