Artisans' Loft continued its popular "Art After Work" series this past week on Thursday, 8 April 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event featured a guest artist, complimentary wine, and nibbles.
Howard Skinner of Skinner Pottery was this month's guest artist and spoke from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Skinner talked about his ceramic ware that is both functional and decorative, some of which features digital collage images. He also talked about his decorative surface design glass pieces made from recycled glass and what inspires him as an artist and an educator.
Artisans' Loft features the work of over 60 local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists and is located in Historic Pultneyville in The Landing at Pultneyville, 4135 Mill Street. This community arts education event is free and open to the public.
