On Sunday, 25 April 2010 at 4:00 PM JoAnn Meaker, author of Ontario, will speak at Books, ETC. in Macedon. JoAnn Meaker has been a resident of Ontario, NY for the past twenty-six years and has come to know and love its rich history. As a retired teacher, Meaker learned about local history in order to develop curriculum for her gifted and talented students and to satisfy her own curiosity. She became a member of the town’s historical society eleven years ago and served six years as the society’s president.
