Vintage Hats on Display at the Lyons Public Library
Through the end of April 2010, the Lyons Public Library has a display of vintage hats. These hats are on loan from the Lyons Middle/High School costume collection. These items have been thoughtfully donated by community members so that students in the annual musical dress in them and also use the collection as a resource for school projects and events. The costumes are also loaned to the other school for their productions.
The school is always willing to accept a donation of vintage clothing from the 1960’s and older in good condition. If you are interested in donating clothing please contact Sharon Lubitow via email slubitow@gmail.com. If you have a collection that you would like to display at the library, please call (315) 946-9262 or email lyonslibrary@owwl.org with information about your collection.
