On Thursday, 13 May 2010 at 7:30 PM Sally Valentine Steinmiller will present at Books, ETC. her two books, Theft at George Eastman House and The Ghost of Charlotte Lighthouse and now her new book, What Stinks? These books are mystery novels for middle grade students (ages 9-13) and are from a series of books Ms. Steinmiller is writing which are set in a Rochester landmark. Each book will have the same main characters.
In “Theft,” the students learn about photography and George Eastman. They progress from one misadventure to another as they experience the different stages of photography. This program is part of the Not-So-Big Read which is meant to promote all local authors. Come and enjoy a discussion by the author and here about the creation of these books.
