The Wayne County Historical Society Map Club will hold their May meeting at the Museum of Wayne County History. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, 19 May 2010 at 7pm.
Ten members attended the April meeting where Gary Fitzpatrick gave a lecture on early cartographic landmarks.
At the May meeting Peter Evans and Edson Ennis will be discussing the option of having various sets of Sanborn Maps from Wayne County towns professionally scanned. Members will also be viewing the 1858 Gillette map and the 1853 Walling map of Wayne County online at the Library of Congress.
Anyone interested in learning more about the club may attend.
