SUBMITTED by Barb DeRoo, Trail Works, Inc. (20-Jul-2010)Please join Trail Works for an evening hike and campfire in the Lakeshore Marshes State Wildlife Management Area on Dutch Street Road in Huron on Friday, July 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
We will explore the trails for 1 ½ hours or so and enjoy the sunset from our campfire on the bluff for a beautiful view. Mark De Cracker will have his guitar so be ready to sing along.
Sturdy walking shoes, insect repellant and drinking water are recommended equipment for the hike.
To find the LMSWM area on Dutch Street Road, take Route 104 to Huron and turn north on Lasher Road. When Lasher Road crosses Ridge Road, it becomes Dutch Street Road. Follow Dutch Street Road to its end on the Lake Ontario shore and park along the road there.
The event will be cancelled if it is raining. Call Barb DeRoo at 800-724-9282 if the weather is questionable on Friday afternoon.
