During the second week of the Make a Splash summer program at the Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad Street, different programs are offered each day. All programs take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room unless otherwise noted.

On Mon., July 12 come and learn about First Aid with Marge Paliotti. For Tues., July 13 Carol Spellman will show how to create delicious fruit smoothies and pretzels. The Wayne County Humane Society will be at the library on Wed., July 14 with some adoptable pets and children will listen to a story as well. There is also a pre-school storyhour on Wed., July 14 at 10 a.m. in the children’s area. Children will learn about the Scuba Team from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department with Deputy Steve Mitchell. And on Fri., July 16 children will make Water Globes.
