If you are looking for a preschool for your 3- or 4-year old with clear values, Christian nurture, and a strong, developmentally-appropriate curriculum, a new program in Williamson may be a perfect fit. A group of children’s educators and churches have created a Christian Nursery School to serve families in Sodus, Ontario, Marion, Walworth, Williamson, and beyond.
As the Williamson Cooperative Nursery School – a community fixture that prepared preschoolers for school and life for several decades – completed its last semester this year, some of the graduates and parents of past students approached churches in the area about forming a different kind of school. They feel there is still a strong need for an affordable, trusted preschool program in the area, and using a faith-based foundation will offer something no other program has. Though the Cooperative Nursery School was founded by a minister and traditionally included prayers, the Christian Nursery School will use a faith-based curriculum designed for children ages three to four.
