Mayor Peter Blandino |
I have been in village government since 1997, was a trustee for four years and mayor since 2001. During this time, I have had to deal with many serious issues affecting the Village of Newark.
I have used my business and financial background to operate the Village, as a business. The combined operating budgets for the Village are just under $10 million dollars.
Prior to my retirement in 2007, I was a plant manager for Seneca Foods, for over 25 years. I faced, on a daily basis, financial and operating issues that have helped me in the challenging duties as mayor. The mayor has the responsibility to supervise all subordinate department managers, including the police.
I'm asking for your support at the Republican caucus, which will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the Newark High School.
Peter Blandino, Newark Mayor
