On Saturday, August 21st, Newark singer/songwriters Beth and Bob Whitbeck will provide the entertainment at the Lyons Farmers' Market, with a mix of folk and original songs.
In addition to the Lutherans' irresistible fried dough the Lyons Heritage Society will be holding a bake sale.
It's prime time for sweet corn, peaches and tomatoes, too. Don't forget to use those WIC coupons; most farmers accept them.
