DUTCH STREET ROAD in Huron, New York
Let’s try again! Please join Trail Works for an evening hike and campfire in the Lakeshore Marshes State Wildlife Management Area on Dutch Street Road in Huron on Saturday, August 28th at 6:00 p.m.
We will explore the trails for 1 hour or so and enjoy the sunset from our campfire on the bluff for a beautiful view. Mark De Cracker will have his guitar so be ready to sing along.
Sturdy walking shoes, insect repellant and drinking water are recommended equipment for the hike.
To find the LMSWM area on Dutch Street Road, take Route 104 to Huron and turn north on Lasher Road. When Lasher Road crosses Ridge Road, it becomes Dutch Street Road. Follow Dutch Street Road to its end on the Lake Ontario shore and park along the road there.
The event will be cancelled if it is raining. Call Carol May at 315-589-8252 if the weather is questionable on Saturday afternoon. Full moon is the 24th so we will hope for a moonlit night.
