25 September, Saturday at 2:00 PM, JoAnn Meaker, author of Ontario, and Bonnie Hays, author of Palmyra, will speak at Books, ETC. in Macedon. JoAnn Meaker has been a resident of Ontario for the past twenty-six years and has come to know and love its rich history. She became a member of the town’s historical society eleven years ago and served six years as the society’s president. Bonnie Hays is the curator of Historic Palmyra. Historic Palmyra has been saving history in Palmyra, NY since 1843. The four museums of Historic Palmyra began during the Urban Renewal that covered our Nation from 1964 through 1976. This event is in conjunction with Autumn on the Erie and is free and open to the public. We will meet at Books, ETC., 78 W Main St., Macedon.
