26 September, Sunday at 4:00 PM, David White and Peter Chapman will read a selection of their poems. David is a philosopher with forty years of professional experience. David balances philosophy with poetry in his dialectic, but the poems are not religious. The poems, collected under the title Luck of the Welsh, take up the theme of life as a trial with a naturalized Deity as the Probation Officer. Peter Chapman is a cyclist and sailor whose poems appeared in journals in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Florida and Washington DC. He has tended bar, worked in a deli and as a church sexton, reported for newspapers and written for a theatrical booking agency. This event is free and open to the public. We will meet at Books, ETC., 78 W Main St., Macedon. If you have any questions, please respond by email to books_etc@yahoo.com or phone John Cieslinski at 585-474-4116.
