Dr. J. Richard Middleton, a well-known Old Testament Bible scholar, will be speaking on Friday, September 17 at 7:00 PM in the Red Brick Church at 4057 Main Street in Williamson, the Presbyterian Church. This event is free and open to anyone who would like to learn about the Bible.
Dr. Middleton is famous for his work on Genesis, the first book of the Old Testament, and his understanding of the creation account, published in his book The Imago Dei in Genesis 1. He is Professor of Biblical Studies at Roberts Wesleyan College, and Professor of Bible and Culture at Northeastern Seminary. He has written one other book and co-authored another, and is in constant demand at conferences and for contributions to peer-review journals on Biblical scholarship.
