The Lyons Public Library’s Hobby Circle will meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month at this time. October meetings will take place on Thurs., Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Local History Room and on Thurs., Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. This group is open to all people who have a hobby whether it be rug hooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, needlepoint, scrapbooking, etc. The library will provide coffee, tea and hot cocoa for each meeting. Participants may bring a treat to share if they wish. This program is free and registration is not required.
