I would like to thank Roger Straub, Ron DeCracker, Lucas Dobbins, Patty and David Alena for helping to move the "Peppermint Mural" to the trolley abutment near Lock 27 in Lyons. This will look great for the World Canal Conference Flotilla coming to Lyons on Friday.
The reason we had to move the mural is the H.G. Hotchkiss Peppermint building loading dock where the mural was hung is coming down for restoration work in this fall/winter. This will now be the third mural directly on the Erie Canal. The others are in Greece and Newark.
