The Lyons Farmers' Market will host the gospel-folk band "The Loose Canons" on Saturday morning, September 18th.
Also featured will be a cake raffle and a bake sale by the Lyons Main Street Program. Please support our local farmers, vendors and non-profit groups.
Produce is at its peak with many varieties of sweet corn, tomatoes, beans, peaches, apples and peppers for fresh eating or canning. You can also find frozen free-range chicken and turkey, eggs, honey, jams and jellies, Amish bread and hand-made baskets, quilts, plants and cut flowers.
Enjoy fried dough and coffee as you listen tot he music, visit with friends and keep a 36-year Market tradition going strong. Use your WIC coupons on fresh produce from participating farmers.
Market hours are 7:30 to 11 a.m. each Saturday around the Village Park.
