It's back to school and back to work for many of us, and by September 27 most will be ready to take an afternoon off, and enjoy a nice fall day and play some golf.
Beautiful Taranwould Golf Club on Hydesville Road, just northwest of Newark, has agreed to host the First Annual Newark Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on Monday, September 27.
Registration starts at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12 noon. This a two person scramble that includes 18 holes with a cart, and a buffet dinner and beverages following golf.
