Wayne County Council for the Arts Presents
“STAN THE DRUM MAN”
Stan Secrest the Drum Man makes another visit to Wayne Arts this fall. Gather your family and friends for a weekend of enjoyable celebration. Carpentry skills are not needed to build a drum; only the simple desire to explore the “Old Ways” with the conveniences of today. Stan the Drum Man has designed a simple way to create this memorable experience. Sand, paint, carve, stain, seal, wood burning and other options are available during this workshop. All supplies and equipment are provided.
Different style drums are available to make from $25 to $150. Classes will be offered on Saturday and Sunday, September 25th and 26th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This can be a great family or organization (4-H, girl/boy scouts) event. Children are welcome.
Registration is required by Saturday, September 18th along with a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 (applied towards cost of drum). Additional information and registration forms can be found on our website or picked up at Wayne Arts.
