On Saturday, October 23, 10 AM, author Jan Surasky will be at Village Bookmarket, 207 East Main St., Palmyra, NY, to talk about and sign copies of her book "Rage Against the Dying Light".
"Rage Against the Dying Light" tells the story of Celtic Queen Boudicca who led an army of thousands against Roman invaders in her beloved British Isles in 1st century A.D. Though she lost the battle, her efforts remain a symbol of human freedom.
Jan Surasky has worked as a writer for a San Francisco newspaper. Her many articles and short stories have been published in national, regional and local magazines and newspapers. She has taught writing at a literary center and a number of area colleges.
