Letter to the Editor

I’ve been proud and honored to have worked for and with candidates whom I believe would represent the people of Wayne County.

Ed O'Shea of Marion, NY
This election year, we have our very own local candidate who can and will represent us and in the 54th District for Senator. He is Ed O’Shea from Marion.

He agrees with most of Wayne County and the 54th District, that
"state government, as represented by Albany and particularly the state senate, is totally dysfunctional. Many critical needs of citizens of the 54th are being ignored."
I support Ed O’Shea because he will truly work hard for us to reform Albany and the State Senate, and work to control spending and taxes. Candidate for Senate Ed O’Shea will work for us to create job opportunities. Ed O’Shea is for the Working Families and will enhance the quality of life here and protect our environment in Wayne County and it’s surrounding counties.

We need a new voice to speak up for us--not that career politician, Mike Nozzolio, we have now, thinks the broken state government is the norm.

Ed O’Shea is a highly educated, caring candidate with integrity, who will work with other like-minded legislators to make changes in Albany.

When you vote for the Senator to represent us, here in the 54th District on November 2nd, make the wise choice this election to vote for Ed O’Shea for State Senate.

Ed O'Shea is not a career poilitician and therefore he's not seeking power for its own sake. As an outsider to the corrupt Albany environment he can see what needs to be done to fix it, and he will do what he can to make it work for all New Yorkers. He has some good ideas such as equitable funding for all counties in New York and much needed ethics reform for state government. He would be a good choice this November to bring some integrity to our broken legislature.

This is the problem. Specifics how are you going to cut taxes? What programs go? Create jobs how and where?
Easy to say hard to do!!! Ask the deeper harder question.
Lets here it my vote as a Independent is still up in the air.

Nothing is a simple answer, or a solution but, I am sick and tired of the good old boys and want new, smart and logical reasoning put before us and not behind closed doors. I've had it with career politician Nozzolio in NY. All he does is smile for the camera. I saw him once when the Mott's workers need him to speak out for them, and that was because a camera was there and because candidate for Senate Ed O'Shea was there with others, including Dan Maffei, who cared and helped the Strikers at that time- Mr O'Shea walked the line and reached out to help them. I want people who care about the Working Families and will make a difference. I'm voting for Ed O'Shea and Dan Maffei. They're real people and they care about Wayne County.

And the strikers go a hell of a deal, didn't they?
