The Lyons Food Pantry will be having its first-ever bake sale at the Market on Saturday, October 9th. Please support this worthy endeavor.
Lots of great fall fruits and vegetables are still being offered for canning, freezing or table use. Plan your meals around fresh squash, broccoli, leeks, onions, grapes, apples and pears, to name a few. Now pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn are available for fall decorations.
Don't forget to use your WIC coupons with participating farmers. Join your friends for a relaxing cup of coffee and some fried dough in the Village Park, anytime between 7:30 and 11 a.m. each Saturday until October 23.
