The Lyons Public Library’s Hobby Circle meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month. December meetings will take place on Thurs., Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. in the Local History Room and on Thurs., Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. This group is open to all people who have a hobby whether it be rug hooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, needlepoint, scrapbooking, etc. Work on your own project and have fun getting to know other people who may share a similiar interest. The library will provide coffee, tea and hot cocoa for each meeting. Participants may bring a treat to share if they wish.
