Friday, December 3^rd – Monday, December 13^th, Lyons’ 1^st Annual Festival of Lights - businesses and residences will be lit throughout the Village to celebrate the holidays. Load up the family sleigh, see the lights and dine in one of Lyons’ many restaurants.

Friday, December 3^rd – Sunday, December 5^th, Holiday Boutique, Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut Street. Local artisans offer handcrafts and original artwork. Soups, breads and desserts available. Friday & Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, 12 noon – 3 pm. Free admission to the museum.

Saturday, December 4th - Lyons Music Boosters Bottle/Can Drive The Lyons Music Boosters are helping everyone spruce up and make room for the holidays by offering residential pick-up of your recyclable bottles and cans.  You may also drop off your cans and bottles at the New Maintenance Facility, 70 Clyde Road, between 9 and 1.

Saturday, December 4^th, Christmas Market, 10 am – 2 pm, Grace Episcopal Church Parish House, Geneva/14 and Lawrence St. Crafts, baked goods, holiday greenery and their famous luncheon at $5.50 per person.

Saturday, December 4^th – Light Up Lyons Holiday Lights Parade, 5 pm, downtown Lyons. Fun and festive entries covered with lights. Line-up: William St. heading north from Elementary School to Broad Street. Parade route: Broad St. south to Church St., Church St. to William St., William St. north to disperse at Broad St.

Sunday, December 5th, Nativity Pageant, 4 pm, The Kingdom Kids and The Lyons Ecumenical Choir will sing together in The Nativity Pageant at the Lyons Methodist Church, 93 William St.

Saturday, December 11th, Christmas Festival and Bonanza, 9 am - 5pm, Lyons Community Center, 4 Manhattan Street. Day-long festival with events for all ages. Children’s activities,  bounce houses ($5 all day pass), shopping, crafts, free pictures with Santa, and Amber Stowell, Vaughn Faison, Jim Murphy and the Lyons Girl Scouts will entertain (for vendor booths and more information: www.lyonscc.org)

Sunday, December 12th, Celebrate the Ohmann Theatre’s 96^th Birthday with a special screening of “The Sound of Music”, 2 pm, Ohmann Theatre, 65 William Street. Matinee showing, $3 general admission. Wish the theatre a happy birthday and come in costume (best “Sound of Music” costume contest!) and sing along with perennial favorites such as “My Favorite Things”, “Do-Re-Mi”, “So-long, Farewell” and “The Lonely Goatherd”. Fun for the whole family!

Monday, December 13^th, Elks Lodge Veterans Christmas Dinner, 6 pm, Elks Lodge on Church Street. Lyons High School Jazz Band will entertain.

Tuesday, December 14^th, "A Very Special Christmas Pageant", 7 pm, Lyons Presbyterian Church, 11 Queen Street. Now in its 17th year, this is an all inclusive Christmas Pageant where everyone has a part to play - from elementary school kids to folks of all ages and ability. This Christmas pageant is what the Christmas season is all about, peace on earth and good will to men.

Friday, December 17th – Sunday December 19th, Steps of Faith - “Let Earth Receive Her King”, Lyons Community Center, 4 Manhattan Street. The Steps of Faith dance troupe performs a seasonal ballet and modern dance recital that recreates The Nativity. Friday and Saturday performances at 7 pm, and a Sunday matinee at 2:30 pm. $5 adults, $4 seniors, and $3 under 12.

Monday, December 20th, Middle School/High School Band Concert, 7 pm, Earl Buchanan Auditorium, 10 Clyde Road. Concert featuring Jazz Band, and Middle and High School Concert Bands with a program that includes "Sleigh Ride", "Cowboy Christmas", "Dashing Through the Snow", and more.
