Jan. 30 – Larry Weill: On Sunday, January 30 at 4:00 PM, Larry WEill at Books, ETC. Larry Weill is a local writer who lives in Walworth, NY. He has led an unusual and diverse life, working as a Wilderness Park Ranger, a Forest Fire Observer, a Naval officer, a financial planner, and a technical analyst. His first three books focus on his three years living in a tent as a Wilderness Park Ranger in the Adirondack Mountains. These stories are largely comical, and discuss the wacky situations in which many hikers and campers find themselves while in the woods. Weill also uses these tales to poke fun at himself, as he too "enjoyed" the occasional mishap while living in the woods. This group is free and open to the public. Meet at Books, ETC. 78 W.
