Once again, the Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad Street, will be hosting a winter film series this year entitled "Tough Dames on Film." Starting in January and running through early March the five films being showcased will feature Hollywood female stars that played against type.
On Sat., Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room the film being shown is "Borderline" with Claire Trevor and Fred MacMurray. Trevor stars as a LA policewoman working undercover to stop a drug smuggling operation in Mexico. The library will provide beverages and popcorn. This program is free & open to the public.
