The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society presents its fourth and final installment of the 2011 Winter Lecture Series, as R.L. Murray presents Civil War Soldiers from Wayne County: Examining Their Years of Service. The program is free and will be held this Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St.
R.L. Murray has written a number of books on the Civil War, which began 120 years ago this year.
The NAHS is featuring an exhibit on the Civil War, set to open June 11. Loans and/or donations of any photos or artifacts are welcome.
The Museum opens at 1:00 p.m. on March 12th.
