Hairspray is on on stage this weekend at the Lyons Jr.-Sr. High School in the Earl Buchanan Auditorium.

Tracy (Kaila Kise) is serenaded by show
performer, Link. (George Dobbins)
Hairspray , directed by Irene Cheney, is the 1960's musical about a pleasingly plump teenager, Tracy Turnblad, who dreams of being on the dance hit series, The Corny Collins Show.  Tracy (played by Kaila Kise) won't rest until her dream comes true.  Once she achieves being a guest on the show, she turns her mission to the show's integration, which of course, always teaches a lesson or two.

Come see this comedic performance that is sure to please as the multi-talented students present an exceptional performance full of surprises.

Performance dates are Friday March 18 @ 7:30, Saturday March 19 @ 2:00 & 7:30, Sunday March 20 @ 2:00.  Ticket prices for are $8.00 - RESERVED - show and seat specific, $6.00 - GENERAL admission - show specific ($7.00 at the door), $5.00 - STUDENTS/SENIOR CITIZENS - show specific ($6.00 at the door).
