Schleede Power Equipment
(Kurtis Kirchoff)
The Lyons Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that Schleede Power Equipment has been selected as the Business of the Month for April.

Schleede's is owned and operated by Kurtis Kirchoff, of Lyons.  Mr. Kirchoff is the 3rd generation owner of the family business, succeeding his mother, Karen Kirchoff and Grandfather, Vernon Schleede who began the farm supply center in 1956.  Kirchoff previously worked at Seneca Foods as a mechanic for 13 years.  Tired of factory work and having the desire to be on his own, he took over the business in 2008 and renamed it Schleede Power Equipment.

Specializing in sales and service for various name brand companies like Cub Cadet, they also repair a wide variety of other tractors and power equipment.  "If it has an engine, we repair it", says Kirchoff.  They are also an authorized dealer of Goulds Pumps, which they also sell and service.

In an attempt to keep the business growing, Kirchoff was excited to announce that a second showroom will be opening in a couple of weeks.  He stated that "I try to add a little bit more every year."  Schleede Power Equipment offers a gasoline fill-up and FREE delivery on all their tractors.

For more information, you can visit them at their retail center at 2448 Maple Street Road in Lyons or call (315) 946-6822.

Congratulations to Schleede Power Equipment!
