Lyons Girl Scouts and Lyons LEAP Program have teamed up to host a community Easter egg hunt and Spring fun day on Saturday, April 23 in Lyons, NY.
Starting at 12:00 pm in the downtown Lyons village park... students up to 6th grade can participate in games, crafts and activities. Students in grades K-12 can enter a Cupcake Contest. Bring in 3 beautifully decorated cupcakes to be judged. Judging will be at 12:45 pm. We will also hold a Cupcake War for those brave individuals from 5th to 12th grade (teams of 3 are recommended). Cupcake wars will feature cupcakes that are not as pleasing... you don't know what you'll need to consume for this challenge.
Easter egg hunts are as scheduled: 12:15 pm for Pre-K through 1st grade, 1:15 pm for 2nd though 4th graders and 2:15 pm for students in 5th and 6th grade. Winners from the Cupcake Contest will be announced after the final egg hunt.
Finally, to end the celebration... we are encouraging the community of Lyons to come out one and all for the Bunny Hop. The Easter Bunny will lead the way as we hop around our village park. The more the merrier! For more information you can contact Linda at 315-945-5526. Hope to see you there!
