On April 9th from 9AM to Noon, Palmyra-Macedon student athletes will participate in their second annual Village of Palmyra spring cleanup. This community service project is organized by the school district's Director of Physical Education, Athletics and Community Service, Thomas Schmandt.
One hundred or more student athletes will gather at locations designated by village officials within the Village of Palmyra and pick up trash and debris left behind this long hard winter. Last year, in addition to the usual litter, items such as a vehicle fuel tank, 10-12 foot sections of piping and a variety of lumber were removed. All village residents are encouraged to follow the students' example. Take a few hours on the 9th of April and spruce up your own properties and help make the Village of Palmyra shine.
