Sunny skies and warm temperatures accompanied the 2011 Newark Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies held on Sunday. The event was sponsored by Newark VFW Post #2886 and American Legion #286. Former Newark Mayor and Lt. Col. USA Fred Pirelli was Master of Ceremonies at the Central Park observance.
