On Sat., May 21 at 10 a.m. in the Community Room, the Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad Street, will hold Memorial Day activities for children. Stories, crafts, coloring sheets and other activities are planned for children to participate in. Memorial Day was formerly known as Decoration Day; it commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in the military service.
