With complete information about the Northeast’s largest outdoor farm show, the Empire Farm Days Official Program will be mailed to the agricultural community about July 7, according to Show Manager Melanie Wickham.
More than 20,000 copies are mailed to dairy producers, farmers and rural property owners in the Northeast, from Maine to Ohio and from New York to Maryland. Additionally, copies are provided at the show at entrances and information booths.
The August 9-11 show is the 78th annual edition of Empire Farm Days. The event has been hosted at the Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls, NY, since 1988.
The full-color, 60-page Empire Farm Days program helps farmers and rural property owners plan ahead for their time at the show, provides information during their visit and is often kept as a year-round reference for the more than 600 leading agricultural businesses that exhibit products and services, Wickham says.
This year a digital edition of the Official Program will be posted on the Empire Farm Days web site at www.empirefarmdays.com.
Many exhibitors place advertisements in the Official Program, providing further information about special promotions available during the show.
The Official Program is published in partnership with DairyBusiness Communications of East Syracuse, NY, which presents the DairyProfit Seminars held daily during the show. The managing editor this year is Kara Lynn Dunn, an experienced New York ag journalist based in Mannsville, NY.
Empire Farm Days is sponsored by Empire State Potato Growers, Inc. For more information, contact the Empire Farm Days office in Stanley, NY, 877-697-7837, mwickham@empirefarmdays.com.

“With exhibitor listings, maps, schedules and all that’s new about the 2011 show, the Official Program is designed to help show goers get the most from their time on the grounds,” Wickham says.
