Finger Lakes IMPACT football team won its 2nd game of its 2nd season 42-0 against the Southern Tier Warriors at Tom Coughlin Stadium at Waterloo High School. On Saturday June 11 Joeroy Baker started the scoring early with a touchdown run. Quarterback Jessie Higgins threw two touchdown passes to Earl Hudson, and one to Alton "Newt" Jones. Leon Atkins scored on a run and Taylor Bennett made three interceptions with one finishing with a TD.

Veterans from the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Canandaigua were honored for Military Appreciation Night, and a group from Wayne County ARC Recreation were also present, cheering on the team. Rain did not appear to dampen their spirits.

On Sunday June 12 IMPACT players, staff, and family members helped at a Women's Build for Habitat for Humanity in Seneca Falls. Those there worked on walls and roofs. The next game on Saturday June 18 will be a benefit for Habitat for Humanity. Come on out to watch your Finger Lakes team with kickoff at 7:00pm, and a promise of lots of action against the Finger Lakes Diesel. Tickets are: Adults $5 Seniors $4 K-12 $2 and Under 5 free.

While at the stadium enjoy the delicious variety of food from the concession stand. Follow the team at www.fingerlakesimpact.com.
