Come on out Saturday July 30th from 4-8 pm to the annual Alton Community Days Celebration. The event is located between the Alton Fire Hall and the Alton Free Methodist Church. The event kicks off with a fireman's parade at 4pm down Ridge Rd.

After the parade, the Alton Fire Department and the Alton Free Methodist Church have once again teamed together to bring family fun activities to you. You can buy food and baked goods, children can get bike helmets from Wayne County Public Health, you can also have your child's ID done by the Wayne County Sheriff's department. The fire hall will be hosting their annual open house, with fire truck rides, a jaws of life demonstration, and much more. The church has a bounce house and crafts for the children to enjoy. There is live free music by the Christian Brothers band, if you haven't ever heard them you are in for an awesome surprise. This year we also have a dunk booth and Sodus Town Supervisor, Steve Leroy will be ready to take the plunge at 5pm. So stop out, all activities are free or low cost.
