The event takes place Friday, July 15th through Sunday, July 17th. Activities are planned for people of all ages and interests. They include: free Antique Show and Sale, antique cars, Gilbert and Sullivan productions of “HMS Pinafore”, special music at the Pultneyville Grill, good food, an auction, 5K race, a Sunfish regatta, pony rides, a parade, hole-in-one golf, children’s games, community church services, afternoon concert, pancake breakfasts, story telling, face painting, art show, Sunday in the Park concert, Lotus Schooner tours, historic walking tours – need we say more? Oh yes, the ribbon cutting opening of the NEW Deli Company including a flag raising ceremony!
The fun begins on Friday with the Pultneyville Fire Company Concert at 5:00 followed by an 8:00 PM Gilbert and Sullivan production of “HMS Pinafore” at Gates Hall at 8:00 PM. Saturday’s activities begin with the first 5K race done with this event…The Captains and Sailors 5K, which is staged at B.Forman Park (starting times at 8:10AM). A pancake breakfast at the Memorial Pavilion in Shalom Park will also start at 8:00 AM. The rest of the day will be filled with many activities to delight people of all ages and interests. The 54th annual Antique Show is in Centennial Park from 10AM to 4PM. This year the Pultneyville Grill is featuring three bands to entertain you from 12:30 to 7:00 PM. Throughout the day community organizations including the Pultneyville Reformed Church and Pultneyville United Methodist Church and local businesses will be providing you with entertainment, good food, a venue for activities, and warm hospitality! Activities continue on Sunday and include another pancake breakfast in the Memorial Pavilion in Shalom Park at 8:00 AM followed by a community church service at 10:00 AM, a concert in Centennial Park at 1:00 PM featuring our own Mark Montondo and Josh Forget and culminating with the final performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “HMS Pinafore” at Gates Hall! The 54th Annual Homecoming Festival is sponsored by the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society a local not-for-profit organization. The Society is located in the hamlet of Pultneyville on the Seaway Trail on the south shore of Lake Ontario at 4130 Mill Street. The exhibits and gift shop are also open during the festival.
