Note: Due to some confusion caused by our first release re: permits, we are issuing this revised announcement.

Empire Farm Days covers 300 acres of a working farm field at the Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls each August. The event is the Northeast’s largest outdoor agricultural show and is a pedestrian event. Other than a daily 2 pm parade of antique tractors, vehicles moving through the showgrounds are restricted to personal motorized transport for those who have difficulty walking and golf carts permitted on a limited basis.

Those using personal scooters or wheelchairs do not need to register their vehicles for the show.

Those who wish to bring their own golf cart must obtain a free permit. Cart rentals are available by reservation. The number to call for information on permits and reserving a rented golf cart at the August 9-11, 2011 event is 877-697-7837.
“Personal safety and access for all who want to attend Empire Farm Days are our foremost concerns. As a pedestrian show, we minimize vehicular traffic inside the exhibit area and ask people to register their own golf carts. For the convenience of those who do not have their own golf cart, rental carts will be available by reservation. We want to assure that everyone can enjoy the event safely,” says Empire Farm Days Manager Melanie Wickham.
Service dogs are the only dogs allowed at Empire Farm Days (www.empirefarmdays.com).
