Grand Opening Held for Ontario Barn Vineyards on Sept. 3rd
A grand-opening ceremony was held on Saturday September 3rd to celebrate the opening of Ontario Barn Vineyards, located at 513 Whitney Road in Ontario, New York. Ontario Barn Vineyards is owned by Christopher Staub, LLC and is Ontario’s first winery. A charming rustic red barn on the property serves as the wine tasting and retail space from which Ontario Barn Vineyards provides many of the best wines from around the State and will be introducing its own wines next spring. The wine tasting room also offers wines by the glass or by the bottle, local NYS cheeses and snack items and unique gift items.

Ontario Barn Vineyards hopes to grow and hire some employees by early spring 2012. The new farm winery is already a member of the Lake Ontario Wine Trail, along with other local wineries in Macedon, Williamson, Fairport and Sodus Point.
